I am a Registered Psychotherapist ( Qualifying) and a Yorkville Univeristy graduate with a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology. With over twelve years of experience in the mental health field, I have worked in diverse settings, including community agencies, hospitals, and volunteer initiatives. In these roles, I have provided crisis intervention, case management , community outreach, caregiver support, and facilitated psychoeducational groups. I have supported individuals with complex and diagnosed mental health conditions, as well as those living with developmental disabilities and neurodivergence.
I strive to take a compassionate, holistic and individualized approach, tailoring each session to your experience, needs and goals. I work to make the therapeutic process feel approachable, meaningful, and relevant, drawing on evidence-based and trauma-informed practices. In this safe and welcoming space where one feels heard, supported, and empowered, I help clients make meaningful changes in their lives.
I am a clinical psychologist providing services in English and French to individuals aged 5 to 24 years since 2013. Throughout my training and experience working in a variety of settings, I have developed expertise to help clients with a wide variety of mental health concerns. I use a variety of therapeutic approaches and flexibly integrate them as required by the client’s presenting concerns and goals. I value a strong sense of connection and collaboration with my clients. As such, my style of working with clients is very much based on a partnership to help clients achieve their goals and promote empowerment and wellness.
I started my career in Nova Scotia and moved to Ottawa in 2016. In my free time, I enjoy reading, spending time in nature, as well as travelling and nurturing my lifelong passion for learning.
